The Cigar Smoking World Championship was founded in 2010 by Marko Bilic, president and founder of Cigar Club Mareva in Split, Croatia. It was a long lived dream of him that started out of his passion for cigars and quality time with great people. CSWC is not only a competition, where people have to smoke as long as possible a Marevas-sized hand-made cigar, but it’s also a gathering of like-minded people, connected by cigars and true passion.
During this first Dominican qualification tournament you can take your chance on a ticket to Split in Croatia, where the CSWC 2019 Final will be held in September.
The winner of this Official Qualification Tournament during the Procigar Festival 2019 will also have the chance to win a limited-series watch made in Cuervo y Sobrinos’ atelier, and bearer of the traditional colors of cigar producer Macanudo.
In the Cigar Macanudo Shop in Copenhagen, the representatives of Cuervo y Sobrinos and Macanudo, revealed this fruit of their collaboration, and the two partners warmly saluted Mr Marko Bilic, founder of Cigar Smoking World Championship, who also was in Copenhagen and strongly promoted their rapprochement for this project. A quite logical guild, as the official cigar of the competition is Macanudo, while the timekeeper of the tournament is Cuervo y Sobrinos.
