Dominican Republic is a place like no other; a true paradise in the heart of the Caribbean. The magnificent views of its breathtaking landscapes, the contagious sounds of the rhythmic drums and the fascinating taste of its marvelous food, naturally blends with the warmth of its friendly people, and the rich aroma of freshly brewed coffee and the finest tobacco to engulf you, causing an unforgettable sensory explosion that will leave you waiting for more.

Divided into three regions: East, South and North; each surrounded by the most beautiful beaches and the greenest of mountains, Dominican Republic has the perfect environment and provides the ideal agricultural conditions for various and many high-quality produces.

La Romana, located on the eastern coast of the island, a sugar-cane town that also specializes in cattle-raising, is one of the world's largest tourist’s destinations, keeping some of the best golf courses of the island.

The capital city, Santo Domingo, illuminates the south coast and the whole Caribbean Sea. This is where the old meets the new, being the oldest city in the Americas and one of the fastest growing in the area.

In the northern region, where the Cibao valley holds one of the most fertile regions of the island, sits Dominican Republic second largest city, Santiago de los Caballeros, well endowed with rich soil and incredible natural resources, regularly attracting nature lovers, cigar connoisseurs and those seeking adventure.

Being one of the country’s best kept secrets, the wonderful city of Santiago invites you to the cigar event of the year, Procigar Festival 2020; a time to experience all the energy, rhythm and tradition in the Cigar Capital of the World.
